How I've kind of been able to reshape my mindset. Every day, I would do ten three one, the largest ten things that you've ever wanted to accomplish. The reason why it's so important for me what happened at the end of ten three one. You're listening to empowerment and all that podcast, your favorite podcast for women's empowerment, hosted by read Aboutista. It's time to be reminded of the authority of your inner goddess and elevate the power within. Are you ready? Hey, everyone, it's ready here. With empowerment and all that podcast. Over the last couple of weeks, while I've been at home experiencing the stayathome order in Houston, I've had a chance to really kind of deep dive into the things that I feel are necessary and how I've kind of been able to reshape my mindset to be more positive and more goal oriented, to help me stay focused and also to kind of shift the way that I've been thinking about being at home. How does a person keep themselves preoccupied mentally and not allow for the negativity to sink in when you're sitting at home by yourself? Luckily, right before all of this started, I had actually joined an accelerator and one of the promises that I made to myself is that every single morning, when I woke up and got a cup of coffee, I was actually going to start writing down a list of goal. So I came up with this thing that every day I would do ten three one and ten three one. Has Actually now turned it has become something that's actually embedded itself in my life. Now every single morning, without fail, I get up, I grab a cup of coffee, I go on my patio and I write out ten goals, and these ten goals are repetitive, every single day, over and over and over again. But the difference between writing down the...

...goal and the way that I actually write it is I write it in present tense, like as if this is already happened. I'm living in the present of the thing or the goal that I've written down. So these ten goals, though, they're not just ordinary goals. These are massive goals, like huge goals that I wouldn't normally just think about right off the top of my head right I wouldn't be like, Oh, you know what, I'm going to write these ten goals like or I'm going to make sure that I fold all the clothes. Now. These are huge goals, and the reason why it's so important for me to write these massive goals is because I didn't necessarily grow up in an environment that lent itself for me to dream big. So now, as an adult, I have the ability to shift that mindset and really think way outside of the box. Think about the largest ten things that you've ever wanted to accomplish. Whether those two ten things are size of your large is obviously different than mine, right, but mine are really big. I include everything that I want in my life pretty much like a written visual board or a manifestation board, or whatever you want to call it. It's basically writing all of this down. Now the thing about writing is it's such a powerful tool because it's actually teaching your brain that these are the things that you actually want and you need, and these are things that you're visualizing, because you're writing them in present tense. I write my ten goals down right. Here's the crazy thing. What I realize is those ten goals are actually slowly starting to come together and I can see them more frequently and I actually see them in my view. It's interesting because one of my goals is to harvest this massive, beautiful garden, and during this time in quarantine, I actually had a chance to start planting seeds on my patio, as I created...

...my own little garden, and I can envision myself replanting these herbs and these these flowers and these plants into a larger garden now, and I'm like, wow, look at that. You know, I've already started manifesting or creating this new life right in front of me, and I didn't even notice it until after I actually got a chance to reflect. Ten massive goals. Right, you want to think really, really big. The three comes in because these three things are going to set the tone for your day, and this is why is it's extremely important for you to do this first thing in the morning, when you wake up, when you get your cup of coffee, when you've taken your dog for a walk or wherever you've done to start your routine. It's best to start this prior to doing all of these things, because number three is three things that you want, that you are grateful for today. It isn't it interesting to start your day off with three things that you're grateful for, even though you haven't even started your day? Yet. Now, why is this important? Because it shifts your mindset. Your mindset is going to start off in a positive perspective. You're going to be looking at everything through a positive lens, through a grateful Lens, and when you look through a lens of gratitude, you just multiply this and in things just get better and better, even if you start off thinking that today is going to be a bad day, if you can at least reach inside of yourself and find three things that you're grateful for. These things can be really massive things and they can be really small things. I don't know, being excited that you have herbs that are growing, or that you get a chance to sit outside for a second to get a brief moment of fresh air, or that you had cold ice water to drink first thing in the morning, because it makes you feel like you're waking up before you start drinking your coffee. It doesn't have to be massive things, but, like I said, once you start putting these three things down, it shifts your mindset into a very...

...gratitude and grateful mindset. And so what better way to start the day off but in a positive mindset, right like, because that means you can really conquer just about anything you set your mind to, as long as you are get mood. For me, doing this gratitude exercise every morning when I wake up really just shifts the energy and makes me realize how many things I've been able to accomplish, even if they're little things or big things or just sometimes it also helps me stop and take a look at my surroundings. I take walks with my dog at night and in the morning, right like every obviously because he has to go outside. But but the cool thing is is I one of the things that I'm grateful for is it I've started a new practice of when I go out for a walk with my dog, I leave my cell phone inside. And why do I do that? Because, during quarantine, by leaving my cell phone inside, I was able to really appreciate the sunrise, the sunset, the birds that were migrating down south, the neighbors that, although we were distancing, we were able to say hello to. We weren't dropping our heads down and being preoccupied with our cell phones or what's going on on social media, and it really just gives you a sense of understanding that being in the present really allows for this gratitude to continue to flow and get bigger and bigger, because you start to notice more and more around you and let me tell you, when you start to appreciate those things around you, all of that just multiplies exponentially. There's no way to stop just this movement of gratefulness and this movement of positivity and the great things that can come to you when you take a second to just appreciate what's in front of you. And I know it's not always easy because, let's be honest, we don't have necessarily control. We don't have control over everything else in our...

...lives, but what we do have control over is the way that we react to those things and if we can keep ourselves in this perspective of you know what, I'm going to try my best to be positive about this or I'm going to find a way to find gratitude in this regardless. It really just kind of shifts your energy and in turn, when you shift your energy, everything else responds to you. It is not interesting that everything around you is actually a direct reflection of your energy in the way that you're putting things out into the world. You're a positive person and you're putting out great gratitude and positivity and happiness, you're bound to receive the same thing multiplied. Now, that doesn't mean that bad things won't happen. That's life. It's just how things go, but what it does mean is that you have the control over what you choose to focus your mind on, and if you choose to focus your mind on gratitude, then those things will just multiply. Now, as I mentioned, it was ten, three, one, and so one one is what massive goal? What one of the ten do I plan to get first? To do I plan to accomplish first? I know if you're thinking really big and you're thinking really wild and it's really massive. How am I supposed to be accomplishing one of these things today? How am I supposed to be accomplishing or getting closer to these massive goals when I can't see it? And maybe that's just because you just don't believe it yet. Maybe you're not used to manifesting, maybe you're not used to thinking and gratitude, maybe you're not used to writing your goals down and accomplishing these really massive goals. But the thing about it is the more you write this stuff down, the more you realize what you need to focus on, the more things actually start moving in the direction in which you need them to go. You ever notice there's a person around you who probably talks about that one thing they're uber passionate about...

...and you never understand how they just continue connecting to everything that it seems like the world is responding to this person because they're so passionate, because they're so driven, because they're so excited. Well, that excitement and that drive is multiplied because that person continues to talk about what they are most excited about and what they're trying to accomplish. And can you imagine if you start practicing this in your life, if you start talking about the thing that the one thing that you want to get accomplished that week or that day, if you put it out there into the world, the world is going to respond back to you, because close mouths don't get fed and people who don't ask for help don't get it. Look, I come from a very strong background, a strong family that never really believed in asking for help, and the thing is is, if you don't ask, you're not going to receive. I ask you, when you're writing down your your one thing that you want to accomplish. Think about it in a way that you can get someone around you to help you. How can you get others that are in your area to really help you focus and get these things accomplished? And when you do that, that just gets you closer to that one thing being done right and these ten massive goals right. They might just be something that starts off one way and then they shift the next, and that really that's totally okay, right though, but the whole point of this exercise is to get you in a good mindset, in a good, grateful, abundant manifestation mode, to where all of these things that you're asking for they start to materialize and they become exactly what you need and what you want and it shows up right at the time that you need it. One of the things that I'm going to keep doing, you know, like I said, I've been doing this for the last two and a half, two months now, and it's become a routine and it's literally I try my best to do eighty twenty. So eighty percent of...

...the time I want to give myself twenty percent of the time to give a you know, break or whatever, or not hold myself Uber Accountable to make this at a hundred percent or make this happen a hundred percent. But if you can do eighty percent of the time, can you imagine just how much more you can accomplish if you're at least writing down your dreams and your goals? Because the thing you you just get into this space of excitement, and I had to share this with you, guys because, truthfully, the amount of excitement that I've gotten doing this and just gotten so much accomplished over the last two months is insane. And, like I said, I mean quarantine was supposed to be whatever it was going to be for everyone, right like, for some people it was going to be this moment of relaxation. For others they had strong experiences of emotional turbulence. For others it was a walk in the park, for some it was no change at all because they were already working from home. But all I'm telling you is is that you have to make time for yourself. And what better way to make time for yourself, even if it's five, ten minutes, is to sit down and hold yourself accountable, to shift your mindset and shift your positivity, shift your mindset into positivity and see that these goals. They're not unachievable. Goals in general, you guys, are meant to be attainable. But at the same time, if you make them big enough, every inch of the way of the experience of getting there is just a celebration because you're moving towards this space of things that you want to see in your life, things that you want for yourself, and they're not just dreams. You can make them reality just by doing the ten, three one method. But Anyway, I digress as usual. But you guys, honestly, I've been super excited. Like I've mentioned...

...in the previous episodes, I've been developing, letting a podcasters network, which is an amazing network of we have forty two people on the network so far and we haven't even launched yet. And we're going to be selling memberships for podcasters. So if you're interested in launching your own podcast, that membership is going to give view all the resources and information you will need. You'll also give you links that you can use to purchase and get your stuff ready and together to launch your podcast, and will have it set up for different budget prices. So, like, if you're like Rita, I just want to launch a podcast, because I know that it's the newest thing and I know it's going to be like the next big thing. It's basically going to be like having an instagram page for yourself, for Your Business, and why not? Why not launch a podcast? And I saw the need of the community and I knew it was important to start developing something, because we'd already grown the network, I mean the community, to a pretty sizeable amount, and so it was time to really just kind of start answering questions and and providing the group with the information and the things that they needed. So for me it was a no brainer, and that's one of my large goals is to turn this network into a global network, which, oddly enough, it technically already is, because we have podcasters from all around the world that are part of the network, and that was one of the goals that I wanted to accomplish and I noticed when I was writing it all down, it's what it became. That's what it is and now when I talk about it and I market it to raise for for the network, it's, you know, it's a global network for Lettina's and that's something that I'm extremely proud of. To continue saying out loud and too believing it, and that's another thing that will be talking about the next episode. I'll actually be touching on imposter syndrome,...

...because when you're in this space of dreaming big, you really don't think that you can do it, you don't think you're actually there until you push through and push past imposter syndrome. And I think one of the things about podcasting is that's really helped me with my imposter syndrome because it's helped me build my confidence. I felt as though I wasn't that person that could really do or accomplish these things at this level because I didn't know X or I didn't know why. And the truth is is there a people who have less knowledge and less access to capital that have been able to accomplish ten times more, and so that alone has really just kind of helped me push through so my podcast, knowing that people who have less than me and have accomplished more. You know, these are all things that I just keep reminding myself and also putting myself in a grateful mindset every week or every day, right every single day that I wake up, I'm giving thanks and I'm grateful for three things that maybe huge or maybe small, you know, and all these things have really just kind of helped me push through and notice the importance of everything right like of of my goals, of the little things that I wasn't paying attention to, of everything in between. So I challenge you to do this because, honestly, it would take five minutes out of your day, but five minutes could literally change your life. And I don't mean this in a like cooky weird way, I mean it in a very serious even if your ten goals aren't as massive, maybe your ten goals are really just things that you think are big, and nobody can determine what you believe is a big goal or not. And don't let anyone around you discourage you either, because they're not you. You know what you need and they're not you. And no matter how how many people are around you telling you your dreams are too big or...

...that's never going to happen, it doesn't matter, because they are not you. How many of you guys are going to join me in a ten? Three? One? I'd love for you to go on the instagram.
